A lot of people think how cool it would be to create own website!
Programming school for kids CODDY proposes to support child’s interests and passion. In “Web design from scratch” classes a child will be able to become a content creator, instead of a content consumer. The course is suitable for kids aged from 10 years.
What is web design?
Web design is an exciting process of creating qualitative and beautiful websites. It includes technical development, engineering, structuring of infromation, attractive graphic design and data transmission over the internet.

Our “Web design from scratch” course is suitable for beginners – for those who want to learn to develop websites and know how to become a web designer. The program of the course focuses not only on learning the basics of web design, but also developing creative thinking of kids. In web design classes experienced teachers will not only train to create websites, but also see design around, think differently, structure the information received and use it properly.
What will the “Web design from scratch” training course give the school students?
During our course the child will:
- get all necessary web design skills for beginner level;
- learn what the web and digital design is;
- use the basic tools and templates necessary for website development;
- learn to design and visualize the website elements;
- know how to design a composition properly, what the typographics is and how to work with the fonts;
- learn to create an animation for the website and work with it;
- get the understanding of proper color combinations for the web design;
- develop "out-of-the box" thinking;
- be able to properly and professionally present own project.
“Web design from scratch” course in Moscow consists of several modules. Each module represents individual project. And during each module kids study different elements of web design. The training proposes various practice based tasks, that is why it will be interesting to children.
At the conclusion of the training every child will have own portfolio of three projects: a promo-site (visiting card-site), a landing page and a multi page website.
