About the course

The course "Development of Web Applications for Business" was created for children from 13 years old. In classes, students will not only learn one of the most popular programming languages ​​in the world, but also go through the full cycle of industrial development of a web application: from defining the problem to the final defense of the project in front of representatives of the customer company.

The best works can be used in real business processes of the company, which will become an excellent case in the portfolio of a future developer.

The main part of the course focuses on learning JavaScript and building applications from scratch. Along the way, students master several important soft skills, without which it is impossible to present a project:

For a deeper understanding of a professional environment, we will organize:

• Excursions to "Evotor"
• Meetings and strategic sessions with the management of the client companies.
• Lectures on entrepreneurship from the directors of the Evotor company

We will also speak about business risks, strengths and weaknesses of enterprises, the prospects for the development of the IT sector, as well as many other topics that are important for young developers in an accessible form.

Course program

This is a blended learning course - online and offline learning. It is in this symbiosis that the child's motivation remains maximum: they do not have time to forget what they learned in class, always in contact with people, and is constantly in a creative environment.

Course stages:

1. Presentation of customer companies ("Evotor" and CODDY), definition of problems and setting goals. At this stage, the guys get to know the customers and learn about the tasks they will face.

2. Learning JavaScript (4 months, 3 months JS + 1 month Express framework).

3. Re-meeting with customers, discussion of ideas and options for solutions implementation. At this stage students are divided into teams, each of which is led by a mentor from the client company.

4. Development of web applications in teams (3 months).

5. Defending projects in the Evotor office, presentation and "saling” applications to company representatives for revision and implementation.
